Finally - a trip the refuge

Haven't been getting out much at all in the weather in Washington but finally made a trip to Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Almost as many people as animals....it was a pretty day.

I've done a bit more processing on these than I would normally do but I like them.

Looking back at 2012?

These days have been long in coming but last Friday was definitely a good one.

good images Dave, but sorry, I prefer no1, as it is more natural. Whilst I like the action of the bird in no2, the second looks too hdr ish, as in the colours look too unnatural, but that is just my taste.

Thanks Tina - that's what I'm looking for. I did a LOT more processing on these than normal....
