First time out with Canon 7D

Morning all

Got my 7D two weeks ago and wow what a camera. The autofocus is so fast when paired with my 70-200 f4 and so sharp straight out of the camera. I probabley used to slow a shutter speed loking back now especially as its been four months since I last done some motorsport pictures but heres five that I rather liked.

It looks like it's treating you well! 3 and 4 are awesome with the motion blur, yet still sharp in just the right place. Keep it up!

Nice shots.

I like #3 the best.

You did very well with the slower shutter speeds.

Thanks Wizaron, you won't regret it when you do decide to, the difference between my 20d and the 7d is huge.

WOW! Those are absolutely stunning, thanks for the link will have a read through your settings. What lens were you using for these, Im guessing a prime.

From memory, i think all of those were with my Sigma 500 F4.5 screwed on, but you don't need to spend silly money on a big prime. The 7D also works quite nicely with my (second hand) 100-400L.

Thats good to hear Geoff, ive got a 100-400 coming tomorrow so hopefully mine will be as sharp as yours looks to be.

Nice shots...just got a 7D as well....great camera!
