24-70 ii autofocus sound?

anyone notice if the af is a bit louder than the mk i? it afs quick, but sounds a lil more geary/non smooth/choppier than the mk i imo

just compared vs the mk i. mk i is def quieter than the mk ii. wondering if i should send back or if normal?

no weird sounds on mine - pretty quiet actually

Mine sounds fine as well. The AF has its own sound but nothing weird. Like quiet marbles rolling over a smooth wood surface or something.

thx, i guess it does sound like that. the mark one seems more of quieter swoosh than marbles so was a bit cocerned
