Food Lighting Once Again

After posting photos here last time, I've approached food photography in a different light (pun intended).

No flash for either of these shots -- just placed white reflectors (poster boards to be exact) to help add light where need.

Thanks.

This one had more available light due to being shot a little earlier in the day.

This one, not so much. This was with overhead kitchen lights.

lighting looks petty good #2 has a depth of field issue....I would have tried to make sure they were all in focus.....


So if God made Man & Woman....whats his excuse for Nikon...

That one was more of a compromise for me -- higher ISO + slower shutter, and I was trying to avoid getting hands in the shot while it was being prepared.

Thanks -- I understand though. I felt that way after reviewing the photos.
