Hi all,
I'm trying to determine what would be best for my future needs. I have a Fuji X100s on pre-order that I will be getting in about a month or so.

1. For this I am assuming the SanDisk Class 10 Ultra 30mb/s would be good enough. Would I notice a huge difference if going with the 45mb/s Extreme? It's only like $10 extra so if it's noticeably faster then I'll spend the extra 10 bux.

2. I also have a Sony camcorder that I record HD videos on. How about in this case? Would you opt for the Ultra or Extreme in this case?

I have all Ultra and they work great. I have some Extreme and did not notice a difference. I done multiple videos at 1080p 30fps for over 10 minutes with no issue at all and I only stopped at 10 minutes because I had nothing else to video at that point with the 30mb/s
I only have the extreme since they were on sale but I see no difference with them.

You should notice a difference when downloading them to your PC, but in-camera I doubt it would make any difference.

No, your camera will not likely to be able to take advantage of the Extreme speed. Actually, it won't even max out the Ultra speed. This is also true for any USB2.0 card reader. So you will only see advantage with a USB3.0 card reader.

I'll stick with the ultra for my camera.

No noticeable difference on the camcorder either?

For that camera, the Ultra will work just fine. No need to spend any extra money...

I'd agree. I have both and in camera I don't notice a difference with the Extremes. Very happy with the Ultras.
