A friend of mine has given me two Travelite 750 studio lights (Bowens CD-1080) and one more 250 Watt studio light to use. These all have modeling lights in them. He also supplied me three stands, umbrella, and associated reflectors. The Travelites has a ¼ Headphone jack for the triggers along with the ability to select slave to look for a flash. The smaller light also has the same option but has a different port.

Now my questions is – I have a 5Diii and want to experiment with these but not sure exactly how to use them together. My guess is I can hook up my Yongnuo trigger to one of my Canon flashes to start the slave flashes. Or do I find some way to find sync cables for these three studio lights into some common adapter to go to the camera? If I try to take a shot at 1/160 of a second, with all the flashes go off on the slave mode to take a good picture.

I’m sure the proof is in the pudding but wanted your opinion on what I need if anything and if so, what and where do I look.

you can dig far enough, but I think the answer is 'maybe' as every once in a while flash heads are proprietary and won't hear the 603 signal (even though they should)

Here is info on the 603--

http://dpanswers.com/content/rev_radio_yn.php (external link)

"The proprietary socket on the RF-602 has been replaced (on the 603) with a screw-lock pc-socket for the flash triggering signal, and a 2.5 mm stereo jack socket for the shutter release cable. There exists different shutter release cables for different camera models.

Another big improvement is that the new transceiver units runs on two standard AAA 1.5 volt batteries. The expensive disposable CR2 lithium battery used in the RF-602 transmitter is gone.

The basic kit consists of transceiver pair, and also includes two cables: One cable with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) mono jack-plug for connecting studio strobes, and one cable that can be used to trigger the shutter of a compatible camera by radio. A 1/4" to 3.5 mm mono-plug adapter included in the basic kit."

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
