for me, the 70-200 f/4L IS on a crop frame, then again on the 5D Mk2!
Stunning glass by anyone's standard.

100mm f/2.8 macro


If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
Digital - 50D, 20D IR Conv, 9 Lenses from 8mm to 300mm
Analog - Mamiya RB67 Pro-SD, Canon A-1, Nikon F4S, YashicaMat 124G, Rollei 35S, QL17 GIII, Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex 1st Version, and and entire room full of lenses and other stuff

Going from a kit 17-85 to a 17-55 2.8 IS was a big wow factor jump in quality.

The biggest Wow for me though was the 70-200 f4 IS on the 7D and it just got even better on the 5DII. I will forgive it's noisy IS as the image sharpness is amazing.

My 24L W-O-W !
I had used my 50 1.4 on my crop camera, but it was alway from farther away.
My 24L gave my subject and environment, a place, a story; with just as thin of a focus, it made the face and subject just pop!

50mm 1.4 has always done me proud, although I did like the 10-22 when I had my crop body. 17-40 is more likely the best lense now.
