Ebay wired remote / shutter release with RRS L plate?

One of our remotes is no longer working properly. I looked for a a replacement on ebay with no luck. Can someone recommend a wired remote that will not intefere with an RRS L plate?
5D2 or 50D

Ok guys, eBay remote arrived and works with no adapter or problem when in portrait mode :cool:

The eBay seller is: yoursforever071012
The remote is made by Aputure selling for about $6 shipped

I'm typing this from my phone so can not provide a direct link. Hope this helps.
