Help-Portrait

I am not sure if this is in the correct section, so admin, please forgive me if it isn't.

I am involved in varying types of volunteer work, and I have been wanting to put my passion for photography to good use. I know Help-Portrait is an awesome way to give back, but since I am not 18, I cannot do any work with them.

Have any of you done portrait sessions for needy families without the involvement of a larger organization? If so, how did you advertise your services to ensure that the right group is targeted?

I'm the Project Manager here at Help-Portrait. I wanted to let you know that we don't have a rule on how old you have to be in order to participate. Did you hear that somewhere? We have people of all ages help out and actually just posted on our blog about a team of high schoolers who helped out this past year.:

First off, Welcome to POTN!

I have come to the assumption because when signing up for an account, I am denied because of "an invalid birth date" which I am assuming is because I am 18. I reviewed the TOS and also read in there that you must be 18 to participate.
