I shot these images to give my agents something visually appealing, creative, and technically difficult. The below images were a collaboration with my main squeeze and BAD ASS Makeup artist Irene Mar, Anna from Whitehouse Models and Amanda from Pinkerton / Kismet and my agency. The half face is not a photoshop effect. Irene and I spent a day researching how to make skin crack like a desert. Im too lazy to post the large versions sorry haha.

absolutely amazing, and I could read your posts all day. Love the behind the scenes details you share. I am fascinated with fashion/beauty photography and hope to one day approach maybe 25 percent of this level of work!

I've noticed you posting more recently. Thanks for giving us some background info, and some insight into what goes into a shoot. This is the sort of thing that really helps (apart from first hand experience) those of us just getting into various aspects of people photography.

@Russ thanks man!!! I appreciate your kind words. Funny thing is when I started out shooting I learned half the stuff I know from here!

@Dr Lazarus
Thanks. I try my best to share how I do things since I really cant stand when photographers keep things a secret. My thoughts have always been that photography is like cooking. We can all use the same recipe but as our tastes vary so will our dishes. Technique, skill, taste and vision all share a role in shaping a photo. Not the recipe. So I am always open to answering questions etc.
