Hi....I was thinking about buying th Rebel XT. I was at Dell and they are offering 10% off. I am assuming that Canon still has the rebates going????? Can I use this rebate if I purchase from Dell? I as because Dell doesn't state there is a $75 rebate. Also, what size card should I get, 1 or 2 GB? Battery? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I get this right :-). Will I have time to get that rebate since tomorrow is the 9th?? Advise please

Thanks! Chris

as for rebate you can do a search at canon site and see if Dell is an authorize dealer. As far as I know they are. As for batteries OEM batteries are very expensive try sterlingtek.com you can get them for around $10 vs $45. IGB is a good start for CF.

Well, guess I'm just going to go for it and buy it! I did find on Dell where the $75 rebate is offered. So that with the 10% from Dell, I guess is a pretty good deal. Hope I don't have to wait long! I've been pondering this purchase long enough, I want it now! :-)

Dell is an authorized dealer by Canon. I will warned that there are often sites that list rebates for this or that, and you only find out later that they aren't authorized dealers. Best to check with the manufactor. There is a sticky that has a partial list of authorized Canon dealers in the marketplace forum. Without the Dell codes, Dell tends to be rather expensive. I would check buydig.com also. You will enjoy your purchase.
