I just got an email from one of the curators at the Royal Alberta Museum:
"....I was wondering whether I could have your permission to use one of your images (http://bugguide.net/node/view/560568/bgimage
) for a lecture I am giving at the end of the month (http://www.royalalbertamuseum.ca/events/event.cfm?id=200
- admission to the lecture is free). I love this image: it is so brilliant and really conveys the beauty and fascination of wasps. Of course I will give proper credit.
Best regards,..."
I thought that was pretty cool.
About a year ago, the same individual determined from images and specimens that I had sent to him, that I had found the first Polistes apachus to be identified in Nevada.
