I decided not to be so picky, but just this time. So, I want to upload about 30 shots to my pbase gallery at one time. I selected them in camera raw, increased sharpening on all of them, then opened them in PS.

How do I grab them all and resize them, then save for web at one time? Is it possible? I have 2gb of memory with 500 gb of hd space.

Thanks
mark

Save one while recording a new action. Then either use Photoshop's File>Automate>Batch dialog to complete the process. Alternatively, record the action, and select a group of images in Bridge and choose Tools>Photoshop>Batch.

Wow that works great, I had no idea that could even be done. Thanks MD for bring up the question, and thanks Jfrancho for the how to.

Thanks. Somewhere Bob Lay has posted a screen shot of the Batch dialog box for those that get confused with some of the advanced checkboxes and what each means. Perhaps he could chime in with a link. I pretty much choose my images in Bridge, Override and Include are unchecked and the next two Supress are checked. Then I choose folder for destination - usually a folder named "webJpeg" in the same dir - and check the Override box below that. There are bunch of different ways to skin a cat, but this one works for me.

I do it with an action too. The quick and dirty method is to use the free Irfanview program to do it, hit file -> batch or something like that.

In addition to using batch mode and an action you could also use Image Processing in which you can nominate the size of JPEG you need for the pbase gallery, etc.

I use this when I require jpegs from raw images for a slide show.

I only realised yesterday that image processor can resize images - that's probably easiest way.

Are you talking about Adobe Image Ready, or something else?

In photoshop choose file -> script -> image processor. In CS1 it's a free download called "Dr Browns Image Processor", which has been integrated into CS2. Dr Brown is some big guy at Adobe.

Thanks. Never noticed it! Looks like I have some redundant scripts and actions.

I am accessing the image processing option from Bridge in PS CS2, once selected it will then open PS CS2 to process.
