Over the last three few years I have sold about 25 prints. I do this as a hobby and not as a business. i am currenting selling framed and matted 16x24 prints for $185.00 and 11x14 for $150.00. My profit is about $50.00. All my profit is donated to a Cancer Center where my wife was successfully treated. Am I pricing my work correctly? customers don't seem to ever question my price. Am I pricing too low or am I in the ballpark ?

I would say your 16 x 24 is low. I charge around $150 just for the print. I charge $65 for just a 11 x 14.

As in all good answers, it depends. It depends on your cost of sale, your cost of doing business and how well you have consulted with and qualified your clients in regards to their needs and wants. We don't sell any prints unframed and our prices are considerably higher..

Hikin Mike, thanks for the response. I can only hope to get to your level so I can charge those prices.....love your work and your story.

Hello Chuck - first, I think that's wonderful that you donate the profits to a worthy cause; kudos.

Price-wise that's not too far off my own pricing model. I price my 16 x 20 product (that is, a matted print on 13x19 paper in a metal 16x20 frame) at $245. However I have sold less of them than yourself. Matted print only goes for $85.
