Model hoverfly

Lovely shots and very sharp. I love hoverflies they are so co-operative when you bring out the camera.

Paul think it's rather dependant on the microclimate. I'm close to the sea and I think it helps reduce Winter temp minima so as soon as we get some bright sun with not too much wind I can normally find a couple of hoverflies about. I get the impression it takes about a month for the temperature warm up to travel up England.
