I have two for starters. The first one was from a visit to DC a few years ago. The second one was from a trip to South Dakota a few years back (obviously, just look at the gas prices!)

Always makes me laugh when I see it. I just have to stop for a picture next time! Maybe even make a special trip just for that purpose... ![]() I have a sign I missed - they built a new plaza in my home town, and one the stores had had a huge banner that read: "Dick's: Coming Soon!"

OK, the sign in and of itself is not funny. I took this shot just outside of Dulles International and didn't realize I had caught the sign in the frame. I opened up the shot on my computer I laughed out loud when I saw it. I can only assume that this guy was authorized.........

I'm deathly allergic to peanuts, which are technically a legume, NOT a nut. I'm also allergic to tree nuts. So if someone who was allergic to tree nuts but not legumes wanted to eat that jar of peanut butter, the 'contains nuts' warning would literally save their life. Sorry to go so OT...and that is a cute pic!

I've seen other foods that have warning that it's packaged using epuipment used to handle nuts (they usually actually do have nuts in the ingredients). Are they just lumping the seperate allergies to cover themselves?
