Well, if someone can buy the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier, why not the London Eye?

The Mountain Dew can has me wondering...

How primative is this place? They use two cans on a string for an intercom?

The building was under construction. The string is used to pull the wire through the conduit. Someone tied the can on the end, presumably, to avoid having the string pulled back into the conduit before the wire could be pulled.

I thought the unintended humor made a nice shot.

Michael.

Comments, bribes, criticism, bribes, irrelevant anecdotes, and bribes always welcome.
EXIF is available inside all my photos, though bribes are still recommended anyway.

I don't know whether this qualifies as a sign or not, but it is a sign of extremely poor ad copy proofreading. I've had this one in my files since, well, 2004. In case anyone doesn't want to really search for the errors, let me enumerate. This car has an antilock "break" system, a "read" window antenna, parallel parking "assitance", a heads up display (as opposed to a head up display), and last but not least a MOUNTED steering wheel, as opposed to the one they just throw in on the front seat:lol::lol::lol:

I'd be a little worried about the "Antilock Break System" myself.

Hey, I had a car like that. My first car, a VW Bug. The steering wheel would come off at the most inopportune times. I kept a pair of vice grips in the glove box and would clamp them on when it did so. Ya know, I almost preferred driving with the vice grips. I felt safer. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
