Many of the human entrants in this Midwest show were hoping to head east for the big Westminster show in New York that followed this event by a few days.

The first is my favorite--you can see the soul in the eyes of that Cavalier. Very nice.

Part of the fun of photographing a dog show is that you get to choose from featuring the dogs or the dogs and their humans. Both possibilities were present as always at this event. It also was useful to have outdoor light streaming through skylights that served as useful catchlight.

i like the whole series, very nice. I spent two days at Crufts last year doing candid shots. They're on my flickr if you want to see.

I love the Cavalier! even tho i dont own one .. they are one of my favorate breeds.. Do like all your photos!
