She has great eyes.
You might move her a bit farther away from the background.

What do you think of this?

Edit to add: Changes made include - added a layer in overlay mode to pump up the saturation a bit. This also makes bright things brighter and dark things darker so I used a layer mask to control what areas were affected. Added another layer to blur the background a bit (she was blurred a little too, but not very much, I don't like the "plastic look" that some people get out of Neat Image). Used a bit of dodge and burn to change the highlights a bit. (can you tell where?!?) And finally sharpened.

Didn't you get Photoshop Elements 2 with your camera?

I'd get a good flash unit before spending a lot of money on software. It's easier to make a good picture than fix a bad one.

You have a very photogenic model and I think you did great with that shot, considering the equipment.
