Hello there. I would love to hear your comments and criticisms about the following shots. The people i show the pictures, like them, but i want to improve and progress.. not just hear "thats a nice picture." Please comment on composition, and PP and/or anything that you would have liked to be different. Lay it on me...thanks

#1 - too busy and it took a while to see the birds. Sky is blown

#2 - Like the composition but you missed the focus. Eyes need to be tack sharp

#3 - Meh - colour is flat and no central subject. For a low sun, I expect to see more colour

#4 - Nice shot and bokeh but dont put subject central. Also, it is slightly OOF

#5 - Nice capture, but subject is too small

#6 - It's a street.
What is your subject? There is nothing strong in the composition

cheers, Paul

1: Agree with the above; I'd have zoomed or cropped in to the nest(s) in the upper, right with the bird poking out.

2: My favorite of the bunch; great action capture, and expression. It would be better if focus was a little more crisp, but it's far from a ruined photo. You did a great job of getting down to its level and not shooting from above.

3: Just not much going here; might make a reasonable black and white conversion that would bring out the sun rays a bit better.

4: Decent framing, but, as above, a bit out of focus

5. My second favorite; does a good job of showing the space that the monkey's crossing in that leap.

6. Just doesn't tell much of a story; sort of looks like a practice shot or something.
