I'm ready for starting outdoor model photography, I have the lenses / lightning, nice models and a good mua/hairstylist.
I'm preparing for spring or summer when the weather is nice, it's too cold at the moment, raining etc...

My next 2 important steps are :

1- Buying accessoires for a setup
For example a nice colourfull scarf, fake diamonds to hold in her hands, special earrings,...
The clothes is something the model must have herself normally.
The mua also has a suitcase with wigs, scarfs ...
I like 70's space age or patterns, maybe search some tissue on Ebay?
Is there a website where I could get idea's about flashy accesoires to give the pics some extra punch ?

2- location setup
as I have no studio (only a portable, not enough space at home) I thought about a nice castle which I can hire cheap, maybe a hotel room
(I know someone who knows an owner of a 4* hotel and we could use the room/bed for free), I live at the beach, the dunes are also an option.
Are there any websites with ideas of setups at different locations (nature,...).

So now i'm at the stage of melting all together, for example the model with diamonds in her hands at a castle, ...
I think this is maybe the most difficult part, to think to create a combination/setup.
This is a job of the photographer and the mua helps him a bit in creativitiy.

As this is new for me, I ask if there are any websites with tips or youtube videos for learning.
I did a workshop already and it was very informative, but like to see some more ideas to note them down and make plans.

Thanks, but the first link are lightning tips and the second link advanced stuf...
I meant with flashy accessoires : ideas of pics with bracelets, scarfs, hats, retro stuff like an old camera,... so objects to combine with the model

Concerning locations, I wonder where most outside shoots occur, in nature, beaches, woods ... maybe the urban neighbourhood has most punch like abandonned rusty shipyard,...?
Public parks are a bit boring as they are too popular (and people looking), so not comfortable for the model.

Have you done any portraits before?
Do you have any lighting equipment?

Vogue. Fashion Magazines. Google same online for ideas.

I think the best thing is coordinating the location with the outfits.. that is the hang up I run into most.. but often time the model brings there own cloths and they dont' have something I'm really looking for in a particular spot. So really scout your location down, and then think about different colors/outfits and how they will look and what will pop best.

Your dunes will look best with vibrant solid colors, I'm guessing. You already have plenty of places to pick from.. now figure out the best lighting, and then the outfit will probably fall into place.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.

IMO the more you look at images of peoples work you admire, the more ideas you should be able to think up on your own. Search 1x.com, 500px.xom, flickr.com, etc. Get creative with google searches. Search modelmayhem.com, etc.

I'm always looking at images and I can't help but to get concept ideas. Posing ideas. Makeup and hair ideas. Style ideas. Lighting ideas. Location ideas. Composition ideas, etc.

Start by finding out which photographers are shooting in magazines like Vogue and then search on google for blogs that post their spreads. There are many blogs that dedicate themselves to fashion photography editorials and great photographers from all genres.

I'm just a huge fan of looking at others work. Every time I view a great image I become a student. You can learn a lot from picking apart images. And in the process, I can't help but to get what I think are some interesting ideas.
