First try, critique please

Well, you've got some interesting bokeh going on in the water in the backdrop and a decent Depth of Field. The one geese are in good focus and the lighting and white balance look good to me on a calibrated monitor.

I did notice that the goose in the foreground (main subject?) had his little legs and feet cut off, and some of his tail feathers are clipped off as well. The other goose, you've cut off his beak and feet... I found these issues a bit distracting to be honest.

I wonder how this would look if it were cropped down a bit more? And maybe I might try cloning out the grass (?) falling out of the face of the goose up front. Just to see how it might look.

I think though for a first try at wildlife, its a good effort! :)

Yes when I reviewed it I knew It would look a lot better with the complete face of the other goose.
I just got my 70-200 and was experimenting with it, some pics came out blurry. Still have more. I'll try to post more. But thanks for the advice.
