Its that time of year again...

The birds have started to sing!
Besides Red-winged Blackbirds, I have heard White-crowned Sparrows, Golden-crowned Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Fox Sparrows, Anna's Hummingbirds and Bald Eagles all using their Spring time calls.

They are very vocal this time of year. Nice shots.

Nice shots...we won't see or hear them until March.

It's a magical sound after a long silent winter; you are easily a month or more ahead of us though.

Thanks everyone. These guys aren't quite in full swing yet, they were only piping their second half of the breeding calls, but they still were extremely active.

Nice captures- they are singing here too.

RWBBs have such a distinct call.
