Now, the 2 lenses in my signature, what would you suppose the best application would be for them? I'm still trying to grasp what is good for what. So, I guess I'm just curious of what other people would find them useful for.

Sam Goldmember More info | Jan 10, 2006 03:20 | #2 I have both of them and use them to take pictures of people a lot. The wide angle lens is great for walking around with. Most people prefer more reach, but I like wide angle pictures a lot.

The 50mm is great for low-light, portraits, and learning about depth of field.
