Kind of a bummer I cut the wingtips off of the second one in particular ... maybe a good excuse to go full frame? These things happen when you're shooting a fast-paced raptor show at close range using one body and a set of primes (at least that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!).

Some clicking occurred, a few lenses were involved, that's about all I know ...

HI Eric.

The first two are the Northern Bullfinch, male and female. Then the robins for the rest.

The UK doesn't have so many "exotic" species, but we do have a few colourful ones.

Thanks Paul! I *really* like the colors and pattern on the male Bullfinch. It sort of looks like the "thug" version of a chickadee...heh
