Can anyone suggest a motherboard under $200 for the i7 3770? I like the specs on this on this one: http://www.newegg.com …aspx?Item=N82E16813157295![]()
but I'm a little worried about the reports of DOA boards.
Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Feb 10, 2013 08:59 | #3 I like the usb 3.0 on board so I can connect front panel usb 3.0 to the mobo. I also like a lot of sata 6gbs plugs, the AsRock has 4 and another 4 sata II ports. It has plenty of PCI slots but I doubt I will add a video card.

I plan to put in 32gb of ram. One thing I noticed abour your link is that it has the Z68 chipset, I think Z77 is the latest and fastest chipset. Here are two more Canon (60D Gripped | 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS | 40mm f2.8 | 50mm f1.8 | 70-200 F4L IS| 430 EXII)

Feb 11, 2013 02:02 | #9 My last couple mobos have been Asus and they've generally been good boards, no real complaints. This time I went with an ASRock as they too seem to have built a good reputation and I was happier overall with what it had versus the comparably priced Asus boards. Gigabyte are generally pretty good too. ShotByTom wrote in post #15593871 Can anyone suggest a motherboard under $200 for the i7 3770? The thing you have to realize with reviews on Newegg is that any recommended board or popular board is still going to have the buyers who got a dud. There may even be a lot of reports of the same failure but when you see something with hundreds of reviews and a rating of 4 or so "eggs" on average (which most of the popular and highly rated boards have) they're all generally going to be pretty solid. People nitpick about this or that but you're likely to have a good experience. http://www.colorblindedphoto.com

How much faster is "instant"? Canon 7D & 5d3, EF-S 15-85, 24-105L, 70-200L f/4 IS, 100mm Macro/L, EF 50 f/1.4 and more

Amazing board. I was going to go with the larger version but I really didnt need the excessive expansion since I was only going to use a raid card and a single GPU. Its solid as a rock and it has so many features. I also like the fact that I can use it later on for a file server when I need to upgrade later since the form factor is smaller.
