ID Please..

We went to watch the steppe eagle who migrates to some parts of India for the winter from Mongolia and Russia but could not get any postable photo(guess the 300mmF/4 is not tele enough for watching eagles, 1x4 makes it worse. Too soft. But maybe its my skill level). While returning we saw this pair, they look too big to be kites and we could not find any info about any other eagle in this area. The photos are cropped in DPP, there were some loud picnickers who disturbed them before I could get a closer shot.

I saw your topic in the bird talk section then saw your last reply to that topic so I searched your recent posts and found this one.

I did a search and could these possibly be juvenile White-tailed Hawks?

And this is their adult plumage. Juveniles have a buffy chest.

Thanks Duane, I never heard about White-tailed Hawks in the Indian sub-continent, I will see if there are, beautiful. We were watching these for quite sometime and the images from google fit the Bonelli's, take off\flying style and all(now that I know what too google for ). The ID photo at AviBase is too small for amateurs to recognize, not that it isn't an awesome website.
