I borrowed some studio strobes so I thought I would give it a try. - All of these have little PP only to increase exposure / highlights / blacks. Please give comments.

My favs are 7 & 8. Seems like the focus was off just a little on the first, but I like that composition.

5 and 8 for me. super cute and lighting looks good. #3 seems flat to me and the separation between their heads leaves the viewer to the fireplace. #4 does a better job of hiding more of the fireplace, but the mom looks more prominent as she is leaning forward, closer to the camera.....it may appear this way to me, due to the lighter mom and the darker shadow cast on to the daughters face by the mom.
