22" BD vs 24" softbox on location/outdoors.

I usually use a small 24" softbox on a stand, I am looking at a Kacey BD as a possible
replacement/addition.

No experience with a BD and was wondering if it is effected less by wind? Is a BD more light efficient?

Both. :D However, it does have a slightly different quality of light to it.
