I usually print at bay photo, but I have to have a print that is 22x28 and I don't know where to have it printed. Any ideas?

My biggest problem is that I cropped in the camera too tight for the crop. If I would print 24x30 I would not have enough surround to trim without cutting into the image when framed 22x30. How would I add a 2 inch border around the whole picture in Photoshop that I would cut off to frame? Any tutorials on this? This is something I've never done before

You could increase the Canvas size. Or use a Mat: http://en.wikipedia.org …Mat_%28picture_framing%29 (external link)

First off determine the aspect ratio for the print you need. A 22x28 print will require an 11x14 aspect ratio, which is a "standard" print size -- not for a DSLR but for printing film "enlargements.

Then, to "fill" that print size, do you want just the image (needing to be cropped) or an image with a frame, and if so, how do you want the image to be framed?

It's important that when you crop, you do so to optimize the composition, and then you apply frames, borders and mattes to make a "creation" that puts it all together...!
