I'm heading out to Las Vegas soon and I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions/ experience with getting a nite shot of the strip from an elevated perch such as a roof or parking structure?

I am not sure about Bellagio. Voodoo lounge is nice at the RIO has a nice view. I never tried to bring a tripod to either but a camera was no problem.
