Mainly just testing out some lighting setups. Thought some might like this.

C&C a must.

I really like it - although, since there is no background or foreground detail, I wonder if it had a larger depth of field, whether it would work slightly better?

How is it lit?

Very cool shot. It reminds me of something one might see in a band's CD sleeve.

It was lit by a single desklamp to my left.

Kewl? Hott?

Dark! Interesting, but too dark for my tastes, both in light and feel. The hat(?) leaves an unatural line across your head.

I really like this, the chiselled shape of your face in the light is great :)

Ah - I was wondering if it was something like a desklamp.

I like the duotone effect, and the baseball cap didn't even register - I just automatically knew what it was - in fact, if anything it concentrates the image on the face even more, adding to the mood.

How did you prefocus?

I actually used the included remotecapture that came with the XT and stayed very still with autofocus.

Maybe place a mirror in front of yourself so you can see how evenly your face is lit and definitely lose tha hat.
