I'm currently looking for a stretched canvas supplier. I typically order 3/4" frames.

To date, I've only used "The Giclee Factory", and I've been pleased, but I'll admit, I haven't actually seen any "High End" canvases from the big boys.

Do any of you have experience with The Giclee Factory? How do you feel about the product?

Another question is, I had a friend who purchased some canvases from Wal-Mart and Wal Greens. These looked NOTHING like the Giclee Factory canvas. The surface was dull and uninspiring, and appeared to be a canvas-like material run through an inkjet printer. Whereas the Giclee Factory canvases are what I would expect, rich Vibrant colors, that appear more like a painting than a printed image.

I've read some reviews of the Giclee Factory which don't rate it very high, so I'm looking for experiences with other Canvas Houses. Some that I've heard of are:

Canvas on Demand
Canvas to Art
WHCC
Black River Imaging
MPix Pro

I do NOT want the "printed" look, I want vibrant colors.

Any advice is appreciated!

I'm not much help perse. I've had several prints on watercolor paper from giclee factory and they've been good although need a fair amount of adjustment post proof. I've also had watercolor paper prints from fine art America and they were dead on and slightly better paper in my opinion.

I did though just post a coupon link for canvas to art $52 gets $150 credit...good way to check them out I figured.

I have used Canvas on Demand, and my mother and wife were both very happy with the prints they got. However I have not tried any of the more expensive options so they could be crap compared to other options.

I've done Costco for canvas a few times. Overall, the actual print quality I thought was good, very acceptable.
However, I thought the stretching was less than I expected. One print had a small wave in the canvas, the other was slightly loose. Maybe my standards are too high.

I have had two prints done by Canvas on Demand, a 20" x 30" and a 36" x 54", and both came out, well, in my humble opinion, spectacular!

I ordered 3 canvas prints from this company last week and expect arrival Monday and Tuesday. You cannot beat the price! I will post a review once I get them!

I agree.

Great prices and great quality. I had gotten a couple done at Sams Club before. CGPP was way cheaper and WWAYYY better quality.

Just a follow up on my experience with canvas to art. Less than a week turn around. And I'm quite pleased with the product. I should have grabbed up a couple more coupons.

Canvas on left water color paper from giclee factory on right. The GF print is truer to my screen and file but that was after tweaking a proof which was way off. The canvas is brighter with no proof but I kinda like the extra pop.
