Shipping time from Photo Gadget?

Curious about typical shipping time from The Photo Gadget? I placed my order on 1/2 and still haven't received. Contacted TPG and they promptly responded with "It seems there are few batches to USA are stuck at custom as recently many customers from US contacted us about the same non-updated status". Tracking status has not been updated since 1/10.

I placed two orders in late December on two consecutive days. I received the second order in about two weeks, and then had to wait another two weeks before the first order came in.

I've ordered from them twice:
24 days and 27 days delivered to the NYC area.

Also,

Once the package statuses were updated showing they were in transit, the status did not change (for one of the deliveries) until the night before it was delivered to me. On the other package, the status did not change until the day after I received it.

I ordered a flash trigger for a Christmas present in November and it did not arrive until mid January. They had good response to e-mails and I cut them some slack.

Update - received my order yesterday from Photo Gadget, 2 days short of two months. In defense of teh Photo Gadget,I think the problem is the shipping system in China. The online tracking is almost useless. Just be aware, it could take a long time to receive your order.

I ordered two separate times and both shipments took about 3 weeks to Ohio. China post shuts down a lot for holidays. I order a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW from a different company in China via Ebay and it was almost $100 less than USA dealers and took almost a month and a half to arrive. To me the savings are worth the wait.
