Agree ^^^. #1 rule in landscape photography is to not put horizon in center of frame. I think it holds here. But I like the photo! 6D, G9, Sigma 50 1.4, Sigma 15mm Fisheye, Sigma 50 2.8 macro, Nikon 14-24G 2.8, Canon 16-35 2.8 II, Canon 24-105 f/4 IS, Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, tripod, lights, other stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of that rule, I follow it about 75% of the time but sometimes a centered horizon works well, and I reckon it works well here for the simple fact that too much dark foreground would have ruined the shot. 7D | Tokina 11-16mm 2.8

Feb 12, 2013 19:30 | #6 I was not aware of the landscape rule. I shoot mainly birds and wildlife, but starting to get into landscapes/sunsets since I'm on the road more now. Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L
