The 50mm market is pretty saturated so if they want to be successful it has to be really fast, and 1.2 is good. f1.2 will aready be challenging to accurately focus, even faster at f1 would be crazy! I've used MF 1.2 lenses on mirrorless and, with focus peaking or AF magnification, it's easier. Therefore, as far as I am concerned, this lens will have to be in the ballpark price-wise with the existing legacy 1.2 lenses to be competitive in this market.

I have made some tests with a split prism screen, but I did not get the same precision as with the EE-S. Furthermore I love to focus where I want on the image even with moving objects.
