Snake Eater (Red-tailed Hawk)

Ran down to our local hawk hot spot and was lucky enough to have this really tame juvenile Red-tailed Hawk dive right in front of my car. Wasn't able to photograph the dive and kill because it was too close, but got these shots once it landed.

It was a complete surprise when he dove so close to my car. Now I just need to get some of the crisp adult that has been not-so-cooperative.
