It's about time. Apple must be hurting for sales right now.

I'll probably pick one up later on.

All the vendors are probably losing laptop sales to tablets, but Apple (and Lenovo) is doing better than everyone else according to Gartner. I suspect softness in the industry has led to lower costs. Either way, good for consumers.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Cool, but they still need to drop the price more. Especially since the ones they dropped the prices on are the non-upgradeable ones which Im sure helped lower their sales.

Agreed. $1500 for a 15 inch retina would be a great price. I would probably jump on that.

Considering *all* laptop gets outdated within a couple of months.

Yes that would be a MUCH better price.

And yes they do get outdated fast. But that aside at least where we are now we can upgrade to keep them from getting outdated so soon. Slap an SSD in there and upgrade the memory and youre good for another year at least. Cant do that with these rMBPs. So to me that makes them worth less than their predecessors.
