BHphoto "Review your gear" and win $1000?

Has anybody ever won this? Or is this just a hoax so you can leave feedback on their site?

I must say if it's true about winning a $1000 bucks. It's good marketing strategy on their behalf.

I would imagine that it is anything but a hoax. Although I live on the other side of the Atlantic, even here they have a good reputation. They value customer service very, very highly (to the extent that one of their staff checks in to this very forum on a regular basis).

Both B&H and Adorama are founded on very high moral values and i sincerely doubt either would stoop to cheap tricks.

I've reviewed just about everything i've purchased from there and have yet to get anything from them.
I did receive a $40 gift card from ADorama though.

They have a very long list of past winners. There is no doubt it is on the up and up

It's 100% legit. We wouldn't scoop to scamming something like this just for a few reviews. No sense in it, is there?

Henry, to my memory, isn't there a link on the site somewhere that actually takes you to a list of past winners?

Thanks for answering in Henry. Before his answer, i agree with most others: I had no doubt in my mind that B&H was following through with this. They are an outstanding company!
