I have a single Younguo 565ex ii. It has worked reliably for me over the past year or so. I've been reading a lot about how others have had various models fail them completely. How many of you have experienced this?

I've owned a yn560 for almost 2 years and it has taken a beating, still going strong.

3 x 560's, and now a 560II - used over past 2 years - no failures thus far.

Completely Break? No. I did however have two 565ex's fail on me, but both were early models with the board/capacitor issues. Had the board replaced and no issues.

I also owned a 468ex that is still go strong (gave it to my friend who uses it now), two 560's that also are still going stong. I dropped my 568ex onto a cement floor from 6 feet and while the red cover over the focus assist lamp broke the flash it's self is still alive and kicking.

I have two YN-560s that are about a year and a half old and see a pretty fair amount of use.

One of them quit making the correct beep when it's recycled - instead it makes a squeal that sounds like a dial-up modem from 1993. Other than that, they're both working great.

Sounds like most people have had pretty good luck, which I'm glad to hear since I just recieved my yn-568-ex yesterday. I haven't messed with it much but I did get it to work as a slave before I set it down last night ,so, I guess so far so good.

I've got 7 YN 560's... 2 used in regular rotation, others as needed.. No problems with any, other than the ready lights seem to not work correctly on a few, but they've been that way since new

My first YN-560 functioned fine, but had a major issue right out of the box in that batteries left inside would heat up excessively (to the point I thought they could explode and cause a fire) and drain. Sent it back and replacement has functioned flawlessly. For the price pretty happy with all my other Yongnuo gear and would buy again.
