haha. I live in Brookline during the fall/winter! but there are a few public lots around the middle east venue. I've never had trouble parking there for a show!

Quick question for you Boston lot, not being savvy to the parking(or lack thereof) situation in the city, how goes it at the Middle East?

I'd rather not take the train if I don't have to, being from the sticks(a few towns South of Scott, lol) I rather my car than mass transit any day of the week.

I dunno, Brendan. Was in there on Monday, to look at bags - Off to Australia next week, thought about a new bag, but then they said they had a sale Fri-Sun. But did offer me the sale price on Monday (The owner lives in the same apt complex as me), but I need to think on whether I'll really need one or not. I may just buy some CF cards. I think it was 20% off them, and then you get SanDisk's rebate on top of that...

I'm really just in the market for a tripod... I may swing by to check it out.

Dude - you travel way more than i do. You sure you don't work for National Geographic or something?

hahaha I wish I travelled more. When I was in the UK, I was all over the planet. Move over to the US, and I hardly go anywhere!!

Thank god for Carbon Fibre tripods. If I go light weight with clothing, I can stuff the tripod into my luggage for the trip...

I was contemplating the Hunt's sale this weekend. The insert in the Metro today shows the current camera bodies and some new lenses priced at undisclosed "event special price(s)." Historically, how good are their sales and how quickly do items go? The Tokina 11-16 is listed at $584 and they apparently are going to have some Tokina 16-28s around.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I'm actually going to go aluminum for the tripod. Weight isn't a big concern. Especially when you consider all the other sh!t we haul with us.

I just came back from hunts in Manchester NH. I picked up a 70-200 f4L IS. I was told by the associate that there's a huge sale this weekend. He informed me that if there's a sale on this lens, he will give the difference back.
