I want to say that is the one I have or darn near close to it. I added the bicycle handlebar tape to part of the legs so that when you carry it in the cold temps it isn't so dramatically cold. Or you can buy their leg protectors for $34. ;)

I got an inquiry about an engagement session/ceremony scheduled for saturday evening. Its in a hall and about 3 hours long. Me and my partner aren't able to do it. Anyone wanna step in? It should be easy. A couple posed formals and mostly just PJ candids.

PM me about details and compensation. Kinda need an answer tonight.

sorry mate, I won't be in the area this weekend...

I don't think so. I'm not really a gear whore. I don't keep close tabs. Maybe on lighting i do a bit. But the bodies and lenses don't really interest me. I personally feel that the 7D focusing system with be in the 5DMKIII. But other than that, i have no idea what's going on.

They seem to like to be adventurous with the 5D, so i can't imagine what'll be next. Should be good though.

Swing out LCD. Like I need it?

Went to the Hunt thing in Melrose today. Bought a spare battery for my 5D M2. Assumed a reasonable price at a show sale. . . . . UH ! UH! When I got home I found the price to be a LOT more than online NYC prices . . . $64 vs $94 in Melrose!!!!

May go to Conawingo Dam in MD to shoot Eagles end of Nov, early Dec. Anyone else from POTN go?

Just out of curiousity

is anyone interested in buying my Calumet 200 x2 kit. I'll include a octabox and a softbox.

I haven't used it much so i'm debating on getting rid of it!

Funnily enough, I was seriously considering moving my Genesis 200's out of the basement to fund a new speedlite - just don't use them enough to justify keeping ...

^^ I think I put them together 2 or 3 times to random fun but I really rely on my speedlites OR a few YN flashes along with YN wireless transmitters.. just alot more portable..

Had a weird urge to shoot last night so tonight I purposely brought out the heavy stuff..

70-200 2.8 is + 2x tele @ 400mm on a 1dmkii
Loving this body alot. ISO isn't up to par with my 5dmkii but it's fast.. soo fast.. I couldn't imagine what a mk3 or mk4 can do.
2x tele is pretty sharp imo. I want a MKII 70-200 though!

Come on Don, if i were trying to be Dave Hill i'd need like 6 more lights. :)

It's more a Jill Greenberg than Dave Hill though. Check out some of her stuff on Youtube.com she's got some goodies.

I just did an indoor studio shoot, lit with only speedlites - came out great. I missed a third light (right now, I would use two genesis 200's and a speedlite)- but if I sell on the strobes, I might be able to pick up that third speedlite...
