no idea why the exif goes away... weird.

Interesting, I left work downtown at 4-5 today, and saw the clouds but nothing like that. Last time i saw them like that was last year...

Yeah I don't know why my exif goes away after I save to jpeg in CS5 and upload to flickr. Any ideas?

It was taken @ 3:57 today.

Presuming your using the "Save As" option in CS5 you have to use the original size choice in Flickr for the exif to remain intact, any other size will strip it.

Arghh... I was keeping it full res. So I have to reduce the canvas to 1024 x whatever (whatever the "large" image is)? Kind of defeats the purpose of having the pro account as my full res images won't retain the exif, no?

The way I do it is to save it at two different sizes prior to uploading. The original file goes into one folder and then the next to a Flickr folder on my desktop for forum size limits thereby retaining exif. Kind of a pain but not many of my shots make it to the web anyhow.

I used have a bunch until I went on another forum which it seemed had been hacked and fragged my computer. Clicked on the link in my toolbar and once the page was open in about three seconds I must have had about two hundred new pages open up, followed some critical system failure warning or something like that.

Took about five days to get back up and running again except a ton of stuff was lost. Registry errors all over the place.

Now that I've got CS5 I guess I've just been to lazy to redo all of my actions.
