Nice piece of kit, Christian. I am waiting to see what Canon announces in the near future with their next camera before I decide on what to upgrade my 40D to...

I'm in the same boat with the same camera. I'm waiting for the successor to the 5dmkii. I now have glass worthy enough, although I do want something on the wider side...16-35 perhaps???


5Dmk2, 40D, 10-22, 50 f/1.8, 24-70 f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L MKII, 28-135 USM, 2x 580EX II, lots of other lighting gear.

A lot of people recommend the 10-22mm for really wide shots, Russ.

10-22 won't work on a full frame, which I think Russ is trying to plan ahead for the switch to.
