Yeah, barely 5hp at that. Stupidly they tried to get more from the N/A engines. Subaru engines were meant to be turbocharged. :)

B, did I tell you I picked up a 05 STI a few weeks ago?

Hey Scott, i passed you in Hull on Saturday, saw your Volvo. I was headed up to that bunker area to scout a location for a couple.

Haha awesome! I was working on my boat!

Roffle.

I saw your photo on your Flickr with the 1st/2nd place dudes - feet completely off the ground.

Haha yeah see I'm trying to go for some unconventional photos....LOL

The ones that are up are ones that aren't turned in to my employer. I generally can't post those images right away.

Oh boy... how old are you again? I think you are young enough to still be able to afford that money trap :) When i hit like 27, i got out entirely. Not that photography has proven any cheaper, but at least i can sell most of this stuff close to cost.

I had some really nice stuff and the minute i put it on the car it depreciated like 75%. So not worth it.

But anyhow, different strokes for different folks. I miss turbo power!

^that was me right around getting married.

I went from driving an '83 Mazda RX-7 GSL to a '06 2.5i Wagon, dreaming of turbos. Then I auto-x'd for a while, did some rally-x (where I picked up photography) and then had a kid. After that, I had to pick my poison and I decided that the car would never return a penny back to me.

Have fun (but not too much) with the STi.

I convinced my wife that I was being responsible when I bought my station wagon STi. It's a family car you know.

boggles the mind of what car you would have gotten if you were irresponsible, and were freely admitting it :D

No worries. Staying under control with this car.

Sold my 600rwhp twinturbo G35 a few months ago and put some money away from that sale (went through a motorswap and 3 different builds with this car). Used half of the money to pick up a used STi with close to no mods (except a horrible drop on springs)

Nothing crazy with dumping cash on this car as it's going to be my city beater. I just wanted something awd and turbo since my gf has taken my mazda wagon.

Leakdown did come back less than 5% on a used 05 STi.. which is incredible.

I'm turning 26 on Cinco de Mayo :)

Coolio. Yeah it's a fun car no doubt. You should get a Mitsu turbo as your last fun car. It's interesting where the powerbands come into effect. Imagine going from a Mitsu MR to a Honda Fit. :) I love that little car though. Gets me anywhere. Don't care about parking, police don't care about my car. It's perfection, albeit ugly as sin.

I do miss the turbo though. Hmmm.

dude when you let me drive you car to pick up our "lost" lens, it made me miss driving a honda. Was a hondanut for a while before going into the nissan/subaru realm. Wanted a Evo, but couldn't find a ix MR within the budget. Plus the suby crowd is way cooler

you had an impreza too right/ I remember you mentioned that
