I am going into that direction now. I am loosing the motivation and direction as to what I am doing. I am setting up shoots from now up till September. All of these shoots are with models. At the same time, I am getting side track with other things. Wish I can get that light shining my way once in a while to guide me through it.

As for lighting gears, I really shouldn't put my .02 in at all. I have the ****tiest lighting equipment. Now that I am looking more into the Alienbee, I can't even justify the cost of it to my wife.
All these shoots with models, I'm not getting a single $ out of this, and I have to put out $$ for it.
HAHA.......I think I should reconsider my options on being a photographer.

Where are you shooting? Studio or location? I'm just curious. I can't really do location with my studio lights because I haven't gotten a power-pack yet.

If you're interested, maybe we could get together for a few of those shoots. I probably don't have as much free as time as you, but I could probably get together for a shoot or two. I do have a bunch of light stands, 5 Einsteins, and an ABR800.

Oh come on. It's not like I have elinchrom or profotos. ;)

They are very nice lights though. I thank the good Man upstairs every night.

Russ: I have one coming up which is indoor location. The following ones would be out door. I would love to have you or the guys come by and shoot. I had a great time with the model we got from MM. I'll try to set up a date and we can all shoot again with a couple more models.

Just got a pic/text from harm, of "real" fish and chips. LOL. Hanging out at Starbucks waiting for my client. Yay for free wifi.

Wait is Harm back in the UK to catch the royal wedding? How fitting. Figures, he's finally not posting here :)

I don't think Harm went to the UK for that reason, specifically. Though I may be wrong.

Yeah - "Real" fish & chips... like the ones he always yabbers on about whenever we meet up. He also sent a pic along of the "real" restaurant instead of my crappy local 99. Yes, I realize that chain restaurants are no better than average... but at least they aren't hit and miss - consider it a low-risk approach to dining out.

My bees arrive today! Really on the fence about what to do precisely.

Yes sir, thank you. I went to see him on Saturday. Catch up a bit. Haven't seen this cat for so long.
So I'm just waiting on my end for the models to respond. I'm also looking into Tapout Boston, cuz of the Octagon ring that they have for the shoot.

Is Harm in England now? Did he say he wanted to go see Prince William's wedding, or was that the real reason he went back. HAHA

Morto,

depending on timing I'd like to try and partake as well.
if there is a model fee maybe I can help out a little.
