Would love to hear any constructive feedback on these images.

The music-themed shot was at her request; I'm not usually a fan of adding words to my images. Which also means I have no practice in executing text/effects :p

Thanks for taking time to look/comment.

I think you did very well overall. You might want to remove a few blemishes on her skin, and I'm not sure I like the flower in her face, but that's about it. She has gorgeous eyes, and you lit them perfectly.

I agree the lighting on both is nice but her expression could be better. She looks fed up. If these are graduation photos then I would prefer to see her smiling and happy.

Thanks for the comments. Retouching skin is always a challenge; I removed most sits, but I'm always afraid of over doing it...

She's supposed to look fed up in the music image; part of the theme.

good lighting, boring expressions, good overall. Also in #2, I don't like how her hand is closed into a fist. Would have been better open in a gentle position (no claw hands!)

Agreed on the hand comment. This was the first take, after which I had her loosen her hand. Unfortunately, this was the expression she was after, and she was turned enough in the other shots that a hand transplant was beyond my PS abilities :p

Strange that she should have wanted those expressions. I guess that was her choice, not yours. I think you did a very good job. I have only two suggestions. One would be to have had a reflector so that the shadow under her nose was not quite so harsh/dark. The other would be to have smoothed out her skin a little more (perhaps with the spot healer or the healing brush). Of course, I don't know what it looked like to start with. Oh, I guess there is one more suggestion--lower the flowers a bit. Just my opinion, though.

Hadn't noticed the nose shadow as being too harsh, but I see what you're saying. I even have a reflector stand/clamp setup. Thanks for the feedback!
