Anyway we can get the original in it's full glory? I'll give it a go. I'm alright with Photoshop.

Congrats on the purchase. I just got the Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS for a trip I'm taking this week. It's awesome! Post some more shots!

I didn't see the full sized picture before I gave your photo a go in Photoshop, so this was done on the smaller one. All I did was use the healing brush to smooth out her skin tone, the blur tool to soften her skin, played with the midtone levels just a little (about + 8 ), upped the saturation a bit, applied USM and saved.

She's a beautiful woman, so there wasn't much that needed to be done! Hope you like how it turned out.

Whew! I'm glad you liked it. I'm always MUCH more nervous editing someone elses photos than posting my own!

Original image is pretty good. Edits have improved it considerably. I've just been reading some tutorials here: http://www.lunacore.com …shop/tutorials/tut018.htm (external link)

These are thanks to another thread here. All three are good, last two easiest.

These are great, and a lot easier than the way I did it! Thanks for sharing them... they have all been bookmarked!

In that case post some of yourself. ;)

Sony23 (Bruce) - That's awesome mate!. :)

Titus213 - Thanks for sharing those with us mate, will have a look in more detail when I get home from work tonight.

ronosmena (Ron) - Unfortunately I can not see your image? Perhaps there is a problem with the hosting?

Zacker - The IS is cool however people put it down as they expect it to be as good as a tripod but agreed it's a cool feature and the only the reason I replaced my 28-105 USM with the 28-135 IS. ;)

Thanks - Sunny.
