Some pics from the disabled AmVets softball game.

I had the great pleasure of photographing the Disabled American Veterans traveling softball team in action. These guys are amazing! Many are missing legs and even an arm and yet they run, throw and play the game as well as anybody. They won their game against some retired football players and collegiate softball players. Watching them hit the ball was a treat as it was almost like "home run derby". Here are a few of the pictures I got, mostly using my 100-400L and a 1Ds mkii. I was granted field access for this event. C&C is appreciated and welcomed as always.

Couple look oof and I would recommend cropping tighter.

Looks like a cool event to shoot.

Yeah #3 wound up oof at the play but the ump is in focus, so I thought it still worked. Does any other look oof to you? I agree that a tighter crop might be better on some now that I look again... My eyes are not the best anymore...thanks for the input!
