These look great. I love the color in the first image.

Thanks a bunch! I've been reading this thread like crazy trying to learn. There's a wealth of knowledge here.

the 1st one is awesome! the 2nd is nice though the teeth are too white and the eyes are too cooked for my taste.

Thanks for taking your time to comment, Jennifer. I do like the b&w one too, and so does his family. Let me go back and look at the color one and see what that look likes like. I sharpened it a bit for website posting purposes.

Added - here is the revision...

Not too crazy about the silver items behind his head. Draws the attention away from his face. Otherwise, very nice portraits.

nice. those are either a great use of natural light or a near-perfect use of artificial light.

Thanks! I have thoughts about cloning them out. Let's see as I am not very good at PS...still don't know how to add layers ;-(

Thanks Jay! This is actually a 3 hour drive for me but SO worth it. I decided to shoot them there this spring before they start their senior year, and will do another mini-shoot in the fall closer to home. Not sure it will compare to this place though. lol

QUOTED IMAGE

You should photoshop the roadrunner and coyote in this one. :D

Great pics and great locations!!

You could setup a destination portrait for the seniors some weekend, enough to make the trip financially worth while even after a hotel stay to extend the shooting. :)
